Before she reshaped the music industry as the co-founder of Sugar Hill Records, Sylvia Robinson topped the charts with this sultry 1973 soul single. Co-written and produced by Sylvia herself, the track's breathy vocals and hypnotic, pioneering drum machine pulse originally written for Al Green soared to number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and ruled the R&B charts for two weeks.
