One of the definitive novelty hip-hop anthems of the early 2000s. Originally distributed independently, the track exploded globally through file-sharing networks and radio play, landing Joseph Foreman (Afroman) a major-label deal. The song peaked at number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in October 2001.
