Before finding massive global chart success at the tail end of the decade with "Sad Eyes," vocalist Robert John delivered this beautifully orchestrated slice of upscale crossover soul. The flip side, "Raindrops, Love and Sunshine," keeps the momentum high as a relentlessly buoyant, up-tempo dancer that has carved out a dedicated following among rare soul and Northern Soul club selectors. This vintage US pressing is a Monarch Pressing plant edition.
