Drummer and master bandleader Norman Connors delivers an exceptional jazz-funk and smooth crossover soul pairing on this standout 1980 single. Released in the United Kingdom on Arista Records, the A-side features the title track from his celebrated Take It To The Limit LP. The B-side introduces a remarkably smooth, jazz-soul reinvention of Steely Dan’s classic standard, "Black Cow". Anchored by a majestic, uncredited flugelhorn solo from the legendary Freddie Hubbard, the track turns the cynical pop original into a late-night, soulful groove layout.
