Sublime double-sider of late-60s Los Angeles soul. Side Ai s a driving mid-tempo dancer written and arranged by Cal Waymon, highly regarded within Northern Soul circles for its sweeping orchestration and passionate group harmonies. Originally pressed by the Monarch Record Manufacturing plant, this West Coast soul artifact balances dancefloor urgency with refined vocal group sophistication, making it an excellent piece of independent soul history.
