This 1964 radio promo copy of The Supremes’ single "Run, Run, Run" represents a fascinating, transitional moment in the evolution of Motown’s greatest vocal group. Distributed to disc jockeys just months before the group's global breakthrough, this 7" single was written and produced by the legendary team of Brian Holland, Lamont Dozier, and Eddie Holland. It delivers a blistering, handclap-driven Detroit stomp that uniquely bridges their early bluesy roots with the emerging "Motown Sound."
