Co-produced by Al Goodman and Harry Ray of The Moments, the track captures a high-gloss, desperate romantic urgency propelled by lush strings and an infectious, driving rhythm section. The record became a verified breakout hit in New York discotheques and crossed the Atlantic to secure a spot at number 28 on the UK Singles Chart in the summer of 1975.
