The band Holme captures the absolute essence of the legendary 1970s New Jersey shore-club circuit on this wonderfully spirited 1978 single. Written by band member Mark Mazur, this infectious road-tripping anthem blends a driving, upbeat blues-rock rhythm with clever regional lyricism. It was inspired by the endless late-night drives the band and their dedicated North Jersey fanbase made along the Parkway to packed venues like D'Jais and The Stone Pony. The band featured a powerhouse lineup including a young Bobby Bandiera, who later became a prominent guitarist for Southside Johnny and Bon Jovi.
