The Dutch soul-rock outfit George Baker Selection made an immediate global impact with this brilliant late 1969 debut single. The A-side features "Little Green Bag," a track built around an unforgettable, driving bassline and a tense, episodic arrangement. Co-written by George Baker and Jan Visser, the single reached number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 1970 before achieving a massive pop culture renaissance decades later on the Reservoir Dogs soundtrack.
